Who Are The Six Figure Mentors?

Owners: Stuart Ross & Jay Kubassek

Overall Rank – 5/10

If you want to find out what is Six Figure Mentors about just read on. I did extensive research and this is what I found out. Please do your own research if you are considering Six Figure Mentors.

The Six Figure Mentors claim to be able to help anyone learn affiliate marketing. However, there are certain red flags that I found when I researched the program that did concern me.

I signed up for the free affiliate program and watched the first video. The video is narrated by Stuart Ross who is one of the owners. Every time I log in I am taken to the page wanting me to upgrade and the same video begins to play. I have to say that it is tempting to get the free trial, however, I am not offered the free trial when I log in the dashboard of the free affiliate account. However, the video plays prompting me to upgrade right away.

After signing up for the free affiliate program, I am only bombarded by the upsell video everytime I log in! Not cool in my book. In order to get the free trial, I have to go to thesixfigurementors.com website again.

I did not sign up for the free trial, as they ask for credit card information which I am leary to provide.

Is Six Figure Mentors A Scam?

No, Six Figure Mentors may not be a scam per se, but the program is set up to get more and more money from members. The upsells do not end.

It is very expensive to go all the way up in this program. Once you get to the top, then you are offered a “Publisher” position where you will get paid on every sale “throughout the whole group not just on the members you introduce yourself”. The following is an excerpt from a free pdf written by SFM. You can find the whole report here.

Who Is Six Figure Mentors For?

Six Figure Mentors are for those who don’t mind spending a lot of money

I can say that Six Figures Mentors is not for me! Six Figures Mentors may be for those who have money to burn. I would not want to burn any money at any time. It is really a “Pay to Play System”. If you join thinking you will be promoting big-ticket items, you will. However, you will have to pay the Big Ticket first!

The goal is to become a “Publisher” and as a Publisher, you will be able to create your own products as well. Take a look at the excerpt again. It says that “successful profitable students and members continue to learn and add to their skill sets by buying more products as they make money online.” Wow! Did you catch that?

To be a member of Six Figure Mentors and make the large commissions, you have to buy more products as you learn. I find that really amazing. In order to add to your skill level, you have to buy products. Wow.

Six Figure Mentors Community

The Six Figure Mentors program purpose to have a community of helpful members. You also have a person who will be your personal mentor (Sponsor).  This is one of the ingredients of success that is true. They do have a community that can help you succeed along with the rest of what is needed. They also have group coaching calls and a live support desk.

They also get together at “mastermind” groups that are held all over the world. This is to get you to the next level.

Six Figure Mentors Cost

The very first level is what SFM calls the “App” (application) You get 1 module of training and you are assigned a business coach. This person will teach you how to progress through the system. They help you through the “Levels” of the program. First, you are a “student’ at this level you pay the $29 app fee and if you want to continue you pay $25 per month. After 30 days, if you are not satisfied you can get your money back.

Then you are prompted to upgrade to get more commissions. The next level is the Essential Membership where you pay membership levels of Six Figure Mentors$297 enrollment fee and $97 per month. You will get 5 training modules at this level.

After the Essential membership, again you are prompted to upgrade and become an “Elite” member. This will cost you the price of the Essential (at this point you are already paying $97 per month) plus $2500 per year.

From the Essential membership, you go to the  Digital Experts Academy(DEA) Silver membership. That costs $2500 as well. At this point you are paying $97 per month, you have already paid $297 to get to the Essential then $2500 to get to the Elite. Now, adding to that to get to the Silver is another $2500. So far, you have paid $5297 and continuing to pay the $97 per month.

After the Silver membership level comes the Gold level Six Figure Mentors membership. This will cost you $8000. Now, you have paid a total of $13,297. We are not finished with the levels either. If you want to get to the platinum level that will cost another $11,000. Now you are at $24,297.

You have another level to get to and that is the DEA Black Level Six Figure Mentors membership. This will cost you $20,000. You will have paid $44,297 to get to this level. However, at this level, you have arrived! When you get to this “Black” level, you have the ability to create your own products and if it is good for the whole community, you can become a publisher where you will profit from all the members not just the ones you yourself refer! Sound exciting?!!

So you will be paying at least $44,297 and then continuing to buy products and pay monthly fees to be able to get the high dollar payouts.

Here is the commission structure of Six Figure Mentors:

They do have a disclaimer that reads that some do not make any money at all. It all depends on your level of determination, hard work and the ability to follow directions.

Six Figure Mentors Reviews

Learning the skills of internet marketing is what Six Figure Mentors says they are all about. They have all the ingredients in place. They do have plenty of reviews online and most say that they are either an MLM or an outright scam.

I did research on YouTube and several of the promoters trying to recruit did not have a website anymore. This tells me that they were not successful.

They do have some websites out there of cookie cutter personalized websites promoting SFM. It squeaked of MLM to me.

I found a review of someone who actually was a member of SFM for a year and did not make a dime. However, they did learn some. Apparently, they do offer decent internet marketing training and tools just with a lot of upsells.

The main focus and goals are for you to recruit others into the program. This is a little like MLM.

Final Thoughts on Six Figure Mentors

What is Six Figure Mentors about? The Six Figures Mentors may not be a scam but it also may not be something you or I would want to join. It is way overpriced, to say the least. You can get much better training without spending all that money. I do not recommend joining Six Figure Mentors.Email Processing Jobs Scam

However, if you are considering joining, please do your research. Just like joining a Multi-level marketing company, make sure you are cut out for what it takes. Just like MLM Companies, most of the people who join do not make money. It’s a hard sell because it is so expensive. You will be required to pressure those who you sponsor to upgrade as you were pressured.

I think it is better if you want to build a business on the internet, to join a program that is inexpensive but higher in quality with better community and tools. A program where you have the freedom to choose what you will promote.

Six Figure Mentors ask you to consider them like a “University”. This is to justify the high price. However, I would like to introduce you to a real Affiliate University. Wealthy Affiliate University has all the training you need on becoming your own boss and making a substantial income online and they don’t charge an arm and a leg.

  1. Hi Cynthia, thank you for this thorough review. So, if understood well, Six Figure Mentors could be considered a multi level marketing scam because they only base their profits from recruiting new people to the program. Am I correct?

    • Hi Veronica,
Thanks for your comment. I really don’t think Six Figure Mentors are a full fledged scam. However, having said that, I do think that they could be considered sort of a hybrid Multi-Level Marketing Company. If you were to join, you would indeed learn internet marketing. However, it will cost a bundle and you would have to keep paying and buying their programs to stay in the program to make the higher affiliate commissions. You are hard pressed to recruit others into purchasing the “franchise” like Cookie Cutter program and you are limited to their marketing plan.

  2. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this article about six figure mentor because there is so much content and detail! I am a young entrepreneur that is 16 years old, and what I need is a mentor that is where I want to be. I am a junior in high school, and one of my conflicts is should I go into college or not? I have heard things like a degree is just a “bonus” and has little value, even if you want to be an entrepreneur. Do you agree? I hope to see what you have to say. Thank you for sharing this article, I will definitely come back for more information.

    • Hi Marques,

Thanks for your comment. I applaud you as you sound like you are taking a hard look at your future and what it will be.

Here is my suggestion, continue with your schooling and even go to college if you have a passion and direction when you get to be a senior in high school. By that time you will know. In the mean time there is nothing stopping you from building a business in your spare time.

Having a college degree and the knowledge you have gained by getting the degree is something that cannot ever be taken from you. However, not everyone is cut out for college. You will benefit I think from having knowledge whether it is from regular college or not. There are many ways to learn if you have the mindset and drive to do so.

You may have heard of Wealthy Affiliate University. This is the program I recommend if you want to learn how to build a business online. Take a tour – Click here.

Good Luck to you and I wish you much success in whatever you decide.

  3. Six Figure Mentor from your review doesn’t sound like it will make me six figures. I like how you are unbiased by saying that the Six Figure Mentor program is not necessarily a scam however you don’t recommend the program. As a member of Wealthy Affiliate I can verify that the platform is worth checking out.

    • Hi Aaron,
Thanks for your comment.I do not recommend Six Figure Mentors, that is correct. I much prefer Wealthy Affiliate for building a business online.
It sounds like you may have some experience with The Six Figure Mentors. However, you are a member of WA also so you may also prefer Wealthy Affiliate.

    • Hi James,
Thanks for your comment. The SFM program does have a free affiliate program which is fairly new by the way. I have laid out everything that I found out and if you would want to join even after you know the truth and how much money you will be paying with the program, then, of course, I would want you to join through that link.
However, I would much prefer you to join Wealthy Affiliate as I think it is a more legetimate way to create a business online.

  4. Hi Cynthia,
A very honest Review indeed for the six figure mentors.
I agree with you that this is a very expensive online course but that is also the way how they earn and how each member will be earning with to become a six figure earner.
Their Marketing strategy is now popular this days,I find this a combination of MLM with Affiliate Marketing.
The only way you can earn is by promoting their Marketing plan to upgrade and position yourself to the Higher membership level. The higher your Position the greater percentage will be your income.
So , The the more members you can recruit or refer to join the more income you will have. And as they also upgrade and want to have a higher income, You will also be benefit if you positioned in the higher level of membership.
The main focus now here is promoting and marketing their compensation plan to earn a higher income and not on creating your own product.
This is I believe is their marketing strategy to be a six figure earners. Correct me If I’m wrong on this?

    • Hi Alvin,

Thanks for your comment. You certainly have it pretty well down. The Six Figure Mentors have a compensation plan to earn a high income that is true. It is just too bad that it is so much of an investment to get to the level to really earn those six figures.

I don’t find it to be the best way to earn. I think it is very much like MLM and in MLM most people lose money. This is the 2nd reason I can not recommend Six Figure Mentors.

  5. Again I have found an honest review that was thorough and detailed on your site. The large investment in six figure mentors is far too risky for somebody like me on a fixed income. It sounds like it may possibly work but I can not afford that risk. It has positives and negatives. I found a home on WA too. It fits my budget and works for my business. For now, I will keep it my standard. I will always keep looking to see what you have uncovered.

    • Hi Christina,
Thanks so much for your kind comment. My aim is to be objective when I do review a product and very honest, laying out the truth. I agree, Six Figure Mentors program is very risky. The amount of money you have to spend would be nerve-racking to me. I am so glad you have found Wealthy Affiliate. It is the very best platform for building your business and it won’t cost an arm and a leg. It is truly a home.

  6. Hi Cynthia,
I must say I admire the diligence and thoroughness with witch you cover your subject. Yes, I can see how you must have been a very effective Rehab nurse. I think anyone who wants you to pay so much upfront before, or as a condition of, learning something is for all practical purposes a scammer. Unfortunately this happens not only in the online world but even in areas like music production. Years ago I made music demos with legit music arrangers. I got exactly what was promised and never paid for any Upsells or promises of fame. I now have well-produced professional demos that I can use when I’m ready or when and if the opportunity comes. Meanwhile my friends have a kick listening to radio quality music that was made by one of their own.

That said, I know people who have paid a lot of money, unreasonable if you ask me, for music tracks that are poorly produced and that no one will ever want to listen to. They were scammed.

As more people pursue the desire to start their own online companies they need to be aware that scammers are waiting to pounce and take advantage. Your post is a very helpful reminder to be careful.

    • Hi Thabo,
Thank you for your kind comments. I agree with you, a try before you buy like Wealthy Affiliate does is really a very awesome way to promote a legitimate program. It shows that you are transparent enough to let the person see exactly what they are getting. There are so many scammers out there targeting beginners and those who are trying hard to learn something. It really makes me upset.
Yes, it does happen in all areas. I am so glad you were able to begin your music production with reputable music arrangers.
That is wonderful and I would love to hear some of your music!
I also hope that people are careful when searching the internet to learn how to start a business online. There are so many out there who are out to just get their money and really care nothing about if they are promoting a legitimate up to date program.
